Our programmes
What we do
Three areas of work, drawn from the objectives in our constitution and shaped by how Papa actually operated: through the people already there, wherever the need is, and without writing anybody off.
We go where the need is, where there are people to work with, and as the Lord directs: beginning in the South West of Nigeria, then across the country, and on to other parts of Africa and beyond as He enables.
Outreach and relief
Practical help where the need is immediate: food, essentials, and support for widows, the elderly, and families in crisis.
This is the part of the work that cannot wait for a process. Papa's church sat in Mushin and Shomolu, and the need around it was never abstract to him. That is where we begin, and from there we go wherever the need is.
We intend to run this through the congregations and community workers who already know their streets, rather than parachuting in. They can tell us who is genuinely in trouble far better than we can.

Education and a trade
School fees, books and uniforms for children who would otherwise drop out, and apprenticeships for young people whose future is in their hands rather than an exam hall.
Papa left school early and trained as a cabinet maker. He knew exactly what a trade is worth to a young person with no other route, and he never treated the workshop as the lesser option.
So this programme deliberately runs on both tracks: keeping children in school where school is the answer, and placing young people with skilled artisans where it is not. Both are education. He would have insisted on that.

Church and community support
Support for small congregations, ministers and community workers doing the ordinary, unglamorous work of holding a neighbourhood together.
He planted churches and then spent his life making the people in them capable. He built structure so that other people could do the work: zones, supervisors, monthly meetings, an office at last in 1988.
This programme carries that instinct forward: find the people already serving their community, and give them something to stand on.

How we intend to work
Four commitments we are making now
Written down so you can hold us to them.
Through people already there
We will work through the congregations, ministers and community workers who already know their streets. They can tell who is genuinely in trouble far better than we can from outside.
No invented numbers
We will publish no impact figure we cannot evidence, and every number we do publish will be traceable to real work.
Consent before publication
No beneficiary's name, photograph or story goes on this site without their clear permission, and it comes down whenever they ask.
Audited and filed
Our constitution requires independent auditors and annual filing with the Corporate Affairs Commission. We will publish each audited report here as it is completed.

Every part of this needs people
Give, tell us about someone who needs help, or offer a young person a placement in your trade.
